About our school...
At Bowlish we take children aged from four to seven years old in four classes which are named after birds:

Robin Class: Reception (Children aged 4 and 5)

Wren Class: Reception and Year One (Children aged 4 to 6)

Swallow Class: Year One and Year Two (Children aged 5 to 7)

Finch Class: Year Two (Children aged 6 and 7).
Bowlish is a communication friendly school whereby we were the first school nationally to receive I CAN Primary Talk Status in September 2008.

Bowlish School was originally a school/church when it opened in July 1869, although no longer affiliated to a particuilar religious body. Over the years the school has been extended, decorated and resourced to a high standard. All four classes have interactive whiteboards and class computers and Bowlish has a dedicated staff team made up of experienced teaching and non-teaching staff to create a happy welcoming inclusive environment for children to play, grow and learn. |
